Mission
Our mission is to do our part in ending chronic poverty in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area. Our aim is to help people get out of poverty and gain independence.
Vision
Our vision is to provide assistance to underserved and underprivileged communities through partnerships, programming and the transfer of resources that helps to aid individuals with basic needs such as food, clothing, toiletries, health care, shelter, personal development and life coaching.
DMV Does Good will use the RISE model for its organization. RESPOND includes drop-in, food, and clothing programs; INVITE includes health, counselling, and mentorship services; SUPPORT includes education, life skills, employment, and housing services; and ENGAGE includes community engagement after individuals have transitioned to independence.

We believe that hate, bias and the inability to be compassionate and graceful do not belong in our organization.
Impact
Since our founding, our programs have served over 645 people in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia area. Our signature programs like “Pop Up, Give Back” have allowed us to deliver innovative solutions to those who are most in need. We aim for positive outcomes, defined by the charity as providing meals, clothing, toiletries, etc. Thinking ahead, we will be looking to expand our offerings, engagement and impact. Stay tuned.
