With your help DMV Does Good, Inc. is battling poverty in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area! Did you know that more than 10 million U.S. children were officially poor before the current pandemic, according to government statistics. (Econofact.org) We have a responsible sense of global citizen-leadership. That starts at home in the DMV region. We have a heightened understanding that there is a need for us to take care of the poor, disfavored and marginalized. So how do we do it? When you volunteer with us, you're joining a movement of dozens of others who have a passion for helping others in need. We're a small, but mighty organization that relies on the goodwill and effort of our volunteers. Whether you are thinking about volunteering with us in the future, or if you have volunteered with us in the past, we appreciate you for helping us to do more good. 
Items we need
Our aim is to help people get out of poverty and gain independence. All of this starts with the first step of covering some of their most basic needs. We're always in need of donations that can help more people survive unfortunate conditions. Your donation of any amount will help us to offset the cost of basic items like food, clothing and toiletries for people in need. 
GIVE BACK DRIVE
Lots of our work is completed at pop up give back events in DC, Maryland and Virginia. You can find us serving in tent communities in Maryland, community parks and shelters in Washington, DC and in various parts of Virginia. Have an idea for an event in your area? We would love to partner with you. In the past, we have partnered with for profit and nonprofit partners to execute socially responsible events that aid the community. Please feel free to send us a partnership email if you are interested in bringing your volunteers onsite for an event. We would love to work with you!
